Used 1999 Dodge Dakota for Sale

This Dodge pickup is a monster. It has a powerful V8 engine and is four-wheel drive capable. Within seconds, it can go from a two-wheel drive pickup to a four by four monster. My current truck has over 220,000 miles, yet it drives like I just pulled it fresh out of a dealer's lot. It has a six-foot bed which fits pretty much anything in it that you need for any type of work you do, whether it be home improvements or for the job site. Even having the bed loaded with gravel from front to back, the truck performed at a five-star level. The transmission is what people question the most on pickup trucks. However, I must say, this truck's transmission, still to this day, has never slipped or caused me any issues what so ever. Dodge made a keeper on this model pickup. From top to bottom this truck passed every obstacle I have thrown in its path. To anyone who plans on purchasing this truck, keep in mind, you may never judge another pickup the same way again!

I have been driving this vehicle for over 15 years and have had very little trouble with it overall. The quality of this truck is superior to any I have owned before, and when it is time to replace it, I will definitely consider buying another in the same line. While it is not exactly the ideal vehicle for families or those who commute long distances in traffic, it has served me and my family well. It has outlasted every other automobile we have ever purchased and has been the "reliable stand-by" during those times when our second auto was in the shop. In fifteen years of service, I have only had to have major repairs performed once, and it was covered under warranty at the time. As long as I change the oil and spark plugs on a regular basis, and keep the fluids filled I have no serious problems. It is coming up on the 300K mile mark, and barring the occasional check engine light (when it is time to change spark plugs), it still runs as well as it did when I drove it off the dealership's lot.
