If you’re looking for speed, the V6 model offers impressive pulling power. Drivers have praised the five-speed manual transmission model for its ease of use and handling well in tough situations. I had the 2001 Hyundai Tiburon for about seven years. It wasn't a super car, but it did its job well. I like smaller cars with good handling and enough power to get out of danger quickly. The Tiburon did well with these. Maintenance wasn't a big concern. It hardly ate oil and the only problem I had was that the struts needed to be replaced.

I own a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon. I bought the car used in 2004. Considering I only paid about 10 grand for the car and I've been driving it for almost 10 years, I guess I got my moneys worth. I did have to replace the transmission several years ago, which was very expensive. I also had to replace all 4 struts which was also expensive. There has been a lot of minor repair/replacement/maintenance work done on my car over the years, but I suppose that's normal with any car that is getting old.
