I have had my Kia Soul for almost three years. I bought it spur of the moment as I was in an accident and totaled my car. I needed something quick and affordable. I love the color of my car (brown) and like the dark interior. I did get the roof racks as we needed them. The trunk is large and its nice that it is a rectangle as everything fits nice into it.

I'm Surprised at how much I like this car!
Overall I really enjoy driving this car. I will admit that I had no interest in a Kia Soul at first, but my wife and I had to get another car and they are affordable. I noticed right away that it was a pretty comfortable ride with a fairly roomy interior.
It isn't the fastest car out there, but it doesn't have to be. The gas mileage for this car isn't bad at all. When we drove halfway across the country we were averaging 35 mpg, and that was on freeways driving at 75 mph.
Overall I am impressed.

Great compact car
The first thing I noticed about the car was its size. I was worried this would be an issue as it looks so small from the outside. However, inside it's very spacious. In the years I've used it, I've had no problem using it to transport any number of things. It also holds a roof rack well, with enough space for kayaks, snowboards, bikes, skis, etc. (I often use it to carry both of my kayaks at once and have never had an issue!) It drives really smooth, and the gas mileage is excellent. As a mother of two, I also appreciate that I can fit two car seats in the back! The Bluetooth connection allows me to safely take calls when I drive, as well as stream music through my phone. Everything about the interior is very sleek-looking, however, I'm not wild about the all black interior, as it can be difficult to clean. It is also a very light vehicle, which is great for gas mileage, however, its a little stressful to drive in the snow as it slides on the road quite frequently (but this is fixable by using snow tires).
Kia’s massively popular box-on-wheels has gotten a significant update for the 2020 model year. Now in its third generation, the Soul is a bit more grown-up and practical as ever, while retaining enough of its quirkiness to appeal to its fanbase.
