Great reliable car
The 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S is a very comfortable car, peppy acceleration and very dependable build. It is a great family car as it can be had in the 4 dr model or 2 dr coupe. The styling and comfort are very spot on for 2006. The factory radio has a very nice sound and loud enough to over come road noise. Acceleration is excellent for a 4 cylinder engine. Top speed also is very good for this size of motor. The gas mileage obtained is averaged around 25 mpg. The trunk is roomy and interior is plush. Head and tail lights are very aggressive in styling and give the vehicle a very modernized look. Handling is spot on. Winter driving is also very dependable, as this car is great in the snow.

Unfortunately disappointed
While the car may not be new, it is esthetically pleasing to look at, and it just so happens to be in my favorite color, blue! I've had it for a while and at first I really, really enjoyed driving it day to day. However, it did not come without its list of headaches. While I used to take it to far places, I can't do so anymore. I've had problems with it starting and sometimes stopping while I'm driving. It's a very scary feeling. It even struggles to go up steep hills due to its CVT transmission. It has drained my bank account more than enough times, and I just can't sincerely recommend it.
