2006 Buick LaCrosse CALIFICACIONES Y RESEÑAS DE PROPIETARIOS

Good value, but average quality.
The 2006 LaCrosse CXL packs a good punch for a reasonable price tag. The features of the vehicle that stand out are leather seating, sunroof, fully automatic driver's seat adjustments, power locks, power windows, traction control, spacious interior, and GM's renowned 3.8l engine. Performance is excellent with the 3.8l engine. The car is quick, powerful, and very capable. You can pass other motorists with ease, for example. Practically speaking, the vehicles provide a good balance of features without breaking the bank. Styling is unique and fairly aesthetically pleasing, although the faux wood trim in the interior comes off as cheap. The car is quite reliable, due in part to the known reliability of the engine. Comfort is exceptional. The leather seats are quite comfy, the interior is more than spacious enough, and A/C and heat are excellent. Fuel economy is slightly above average for a full-sized sedan, as I'm averaging 29mpg on the highway (I drive almost exclusively on the highway). As a fun blurb, I love the trap doors on the underside of the front bumper; they allow for aftermarket fog lights!

Car drives great and has a sleek finished look. Love it.
I thoroughly enjoy the vehicles power with the 3800 series V6, it has a lot of get up and go. The ride is very smooth, but doesn't have that floating feel that is associated with larger cars. The mileage isn't that great, but manageable. The leather interior is excellent, easy to clean, and durable. I am not a fan of the traction control, it can help to get you going if you are stopped on say a snowy road, but when braking I find it is better with it off. Only have had the car for approximately 4 months, and only had one problem so far, that being a wheel bearing. I found that part online was reasonably priced. While researching the car I had found there was a common problem with the steering column, but upon looking at the Carfax found that Buick had fixed it already. Dash assembly is easy to use and intuitive with five button above the radio to access odometer, mileage, traction control, and language specifications. Overall I have thus far found this car to be a great purchase, and when we decide to trade it in I'll definitely be looking for another Buick.

Affordable Sticker Price, Higher Insurance Cost
When I originally bought this car, I was looking for something in a specific price range ($10,000 - $12,000) that wasn't too old and didn't have tons of miles. My Cobalt fit that bill. It has been a reliable vehicle thus far (I have owned it about four years). The only major expense that I've had is replacing the breaks, something that everyone will have to do if they keep a car for long enough. I was recently contacted by Chevy and informed about a recall on my vehicle involving a potentially faulty ignition switch. I haven't personally had any problems with my ignition, but I intend to take my car in as soon as possible to make sure that I am not injured, since apparently other people have been.
