Good vehicle
The Buick Lucerne has been a good vehicle since I owned it. The vehicle has heated seats and heated steering wheel, which is nice during winter. The engine has been very dependable for me. I drive about a 100 miles a day. As long as basic maintenance is done on the engine, it will last. The transmission was good till about 114,000 miles and needed replacement. This will cost about $3,500. After that was replaced, I have not had any issue with the vehicle. I'm still happy with it.

No regrets.
I bought the 2011 Buick Lucerne after seeing many earlier models on the streets. I liked the styling of what I saw, so I purchased one. The interior is nicely designed and what's most important, roomy.
The performance and handling was perfect and the gas mileage was what I looked for in a car. After 140,000 miles, it still runs like a sewing machine.

Pretty on the outside
For context, I am 4'11''. The Buick Lucerne is a big car. I feel like I'm driving a boat. It's a lot of car for a short person. I have to sit on two cushions to see over the wheel. It's not exactly comfortable. However, despite difficulties with my height, the Lucerne is a reliable, sturdy car. The backseat is roomy. Trunk space is fantastic. On road performance is excellent, great for travelling, the cruise control feature is awesome. Despite this being a "luxury car" off road performance is great. I've successfully driven this car up rocky North Carolina mountain roads with no problems, the tires grip the road, and she, surprisingly fits in tight spaces despite her wide body.
