The styling of the car is excellent. It has great lines yet also a nice round shape. The silver color is particularly beautiful. In my opinion, the Equinox is the best looking Chevrolet SUV available, although it is just a little too small. The trunk has a lot of space to haul pretty much anything you need, and the back seats can lay down. The only issue is that the back seats tend to make the rider hunch forward a little. The back seats also aren't made for a man that is well above average height. As far as vehicle quality goes, I have only had to bring it to the shop once, and that was for a minor recall. The gas mileage is excellent. I get around 28 mpg. The performance of this car is great for a 4 cylinder. It has around 160 horsepower, which is plenty when you need to accelerate at low speeds. It leaves you wanting more when traveling at higher speeds on the interstate, though. Braking and handling are great for an SUV. I feel safe and mostly in control. One negative in regard to the steering is that it seems there is a little bit of over steer at times. Although I've listed a few negatives, this really is a great vehicle. It is well priced and you get a lot for the money.
