2012 Chevrolet Equinox - Great, except for recalls.
I purchased my car because it had the features I was looking for. I wanted a car that have all wheel drive because I live in New England and the winters are tough. I also wanted a car with GPS capabilities on the screen.
Historia
I love driving along the beach in the summer with the windows and sunroof open and listening to music.
A Favor
The A/C and heat in this car kick in quickly, it also had heated seats. I love the sun room for the summer time. I also love that it has a spacious trunk where I am able to fit a lot of my work materials. I also like the rack on top of the car which I use a lot when I go on vacation and have to pack clothes for the whole family.
En Contra
The biggest downside to the car is the engine recall. For whatever reason the car burns oil extremely fast. I need to monitor my oil and add oil to my car between changes because it burns it off so quickly. There is also another feature that acts up because of the recall and causes the engine to shake at times. I have also had two instances where the computer glitched out and I needed to have it towed to a Chevy dealer to fix and once the buttons on the dash completely stopped working until the car was off overnight.
