2011 Chevrolet Impala - Large car, great features.
I've owned one Impala prior to this one and they have both been fabulous. My current has 150k+ miles on it and performs great with minimal continued maintenance on it. I love the size and the weight of the car. I've piled people in there and everyone still has comfortable space and room for their stuff in the trunk. I've also had experiences with some slippery/scary roads up in Minnesota and Wisconsin with snow and ice and the weight of the car does a great deal to help deal with that the ABS system is also a huge added perk that I would be searching for in a future car. I love how easy the cruise control and media buttons are accessible being on the steering wheel. The other technology features on the console are becoming dated, but were great technology in 2011 when the car was new. ... (more)

4 people in my car and we drove from Milwaukee, WI up to Duluth, MN in a snowstorm - mostly on ice covered/snow covered interstate roads and I had very little concerns with my car getting us there safely even with all the unknowns of the drivers around me. I attribute us being able to manage that road trip solely to the fact that I drive the car I do.
A Favor
Size, weight, trunk space, technology, heated seats, autostart, ABS system.
En Contra
Blind spots in the front (supports between doors and windshield), low ride and suspension.
2014 Chevrolet Impala - Luxury Car at Reasonable Price
In 2014 Chevy redesigned the Impala now it is bigger than previous models, has more cup holders, has a gorgeous interior trim package, tons of space and looks much more expensive than it was. My friends say it looks like a high end luxury car. I look forward to driving it every day - it feels sophisticated.

The day I bought my car my daughter and I were goofing around and I was showing her the huge trunk - she climbed in and laid down. We took a photo and sent it to my grand daughter - she was appalled that I put her auntie in the trunk!
A Favor
It gets great gas mileage for a sedan and it rides like a dream. The driver and passenger seats are wide and plush and fully adjustable, which is nice for my husband who has back trouble.
The back seat is incredibly roomy, it fits two car seats well. I also like that the seats can be folded down for extra hauling room - when I go scrapbooking I take a lot of bags and bins and I fill it up!
I also love the built in GPS. The audio system provides great sound in both the front and back seats and is fully Bluetooth compatible. I'm so happy I bought a car with remote start - helps so much in ... (more)
En Contra
I'm having a hard time thinking of any cons about this car. I did have an issue with the size when I first bought it, but soon adjusted to it being wider than my previous Impala.

The sales person, Wade Duncan, made the dealership great. He was friendly and had great knowledge of the cars.
