2005 Chevrolet Malibu - 2005 Chevy Malibu review
I liked my vehicle because it was my first car. I enjoyed driving it and learning how to drive with it. I have many great memories with my dad teaching me how to drive. It rode well in the rain, snow, cold, heat, etc. I enjoyed learning how to drive it. It also lasted me almost 10 years and drove relatively smoothly for a used car. I disliked that it has electrical problems, and I was always having to fix fuses, and sometimes that wouldn't even fix the problem.
Historia
Once my friend and I took it on a cross-country trip that was super fun. It barely made it home, but it got us there and back safely, which was awesome.
A Favor
The pros to this car was that I could drive it to and from work, school, church, friends, etc., and it always worked for me. It has minimal engine problems and worked as long as I did the usual upkeep you would do on any car. It drove very smoothly and would get pretty decent gas mileage. I was also able to change parts with relative ease on this car. Everything was very simple and only required the use of basic tools.
En Contra
The electrical was the biggest con that I dealt with. It was constantly proving to be a problem. I would change the fuses and that wouldn't do anything. The front left turn signal died and was unable to be fixed without replacing the entire headlight. The automatic door locks stopped working on the entire car. The CD player also broke, and the trunk broke as well. The hydraulics for it snapped, and it is no longer able to be opened. I would like to get it fixed, but the parts are not cheap. You can buy the more expensive ones, but they fall apart after a few years so it's not worth it.
2007 Chevrolet Malibu - Chester has been very reliable
I started my journey with Chester (Corolla 2007) when I learned how to drive and I took my driving test with him. We have been going strong for 6 years now. The car's style is very mediocre and it definitely blends in with every other car, but that's nice because it's hidden from the vision of the cops. I put black hubcaps on it and it makes it look cooler. It doesn't go very fast. It is very reliable. The size is small so the back seats get really cramped. The seats are comfy. I prefer sleeping in my car than walking into my house. I like how the seats come down and provide a bigger trunk.
Historia
I took him up to Big Sur, CA and sat on the windshield and looked up at stars.
Chester would win parking spot challenges with other cars.
A Favor
It fits in many parking spots. He's my bae. I have had him running solid for 7+ years. The music gets loud. The seat is comfy. It is rarely in repair. The AC is cold and I haven't changed the fluid. It comes with the lock/unlock button. I like a have power control of my rear view windows. It's easy to replace broken parts. The color of the car hides long periods of unwashed details. I get 30+ per gallon.
En Contra
The CD in the 6-disk radio got stuck and I had to replace it. My tires' little knob thing constantly wears out and lets my air out of my tires. The engine light goes on after long car drives. I don't like when it beeps when I put my heavy backpack on the passenger seat.
