I purchased my Journey because I needed third row seating, but I quickly discovered that with the third row seat up there is no storage space left in the rear. It does have plenty of power and passes other cars easily, but sometimes I have to manually shift it because the transmission doesn't like it when you floor it. There is plenty of storage space if you keep the third row folded down. I also like that the second row and front passenger seat also fold down. An 8 foot 2x4 will fit well if all the seats are folded down. Repair costs are as would be expected and not overly expensive. It runs surprisingly well for having almost 200,000 miles on it currently. The 19 inch wheels look nice on it but the rare size tires make it almost $1,000 to replace all 4 tires. Overall I do like the Journey, but I'm not sure if I would buy another one unless I got a really good deal on it like this one.

This is a great mid-sized crossover vehicle for an active family. The vehicle handles well in rain and snow. The fold-down third row seat allows for extra cargo room, and there is even a hidden compartment in the cargo area which helps hide things from other’s view. The seating is comfortable for long road trips and provides enough room for passengers to stretch out. The vehicle provides a smooth, quiet ride. The vehicle gets good gas mileage both in town and on the highway. The size allows for easy maneuverability in tight spaces but is definitely not a compact vehicle. Driving this vehicle is easy whether a quick trip to the store or across the state.
