I needed a car that got great mileage because I had a Mustang GT and I received a promotion at work that required me to drive a lot during the day. This car was perfect. I had also fallen down and hurt my wrists. I couldn't drive my mustang because the gear shifter was so hard to change the Fiat was so easy. A day doesn't go by that a woman doesn't say how cute my car is and how they would want one. Men, on the other hand, think it looks like a clown car because it is very tiny. Everyone treats me nicely when I'm driving my cute little car. I love the convertible top when I'm driving in the neighborhood but at high speeds, it makes a lot of wind noise. I have had it for several years and have driven it 30,000 miles and it has not had a single mechanical problem. There isn't a spare tir... (more)

When I was having the windshield replaced the technician was saying that his wife wanted my style of car. He didn't like it. After we talked about it, I showed him my car and the interior he fell in love with it too. I think they probably did buy one too.
A Favor
Convertible, easy to drive, fast, sport button, bright interior, women think it is cute, at high speeds the top down makes a lot of noise.
En Contra
No spare tire, not a lot of room, seats are cloth can get dirty, men think it is a clown car.

When I first saw my Fiat 500 Pop, I loved it. The interior colors (red and off white) were unique, and I hadn't ever seen a car with that much style. I still enjoy driving it, but I wouldn't recommend owning it, because the cons outweigh the pros. For starters, the fuel economy isn't as good as you would hope from a car that size. I get about the same mileage as a mid-sized car, even though it's clearly a compact vehicle. Secondly, it is LOUD. The engine isn't very loud, but most newer cars are pretty quiet inside the cab, and the Fiat is anything but. Especially on the highway. It sounds like you're running a vacuum cleaner the entire trip if you're going over 55. I've also noticed that some of the fixtures, such as the interior door handles, feel a little cheap and flimsy. The plasti... (more)

I don't really have a specific story, but my boyfriend refers to it as the roller skate car. Because it's about the size and shape of a roller skate.
A Favor
My favorite feature is the interior styling. The fun color selection is unparalleled among newer cars I've looked at. Another thing I really appreciate is how the on board computer tells me anytime something is amiss with the vehicle, like low tire pressure, although sometimes this feature fails, like when my car battery needed to be replaced without warning. The driver's seat is also very adjustable, which is good for someone who may share the vehicle with another person. You can raise it and lower it, which I hadn't seen on any other vehicle before.
En Contra
It's so loud. The cab doesn't contain the wind noise while driving on the highway. This may just be because the car is so small, but I've never been in such a loud vehicle as this one. I feel bad for my poor weenie dog when we take trips, because I have to turn the stereo up so loud just to hear it. He also can't get in and out of it by himself because there are no back doors. I have to open the hatchback and lift him out, which could be good if your dog likes to bolt before you're ready.

2016 FIAT 500c - Perfect triumph of minimalism.

I love my Fiat 500. It's an incredibly fun car to drive, and everyone who rides in it with me thinks it's great. For a cheap car, it's well made, and the interior is pretty nice. All of the features suit my needs, and I'm never wanting for more.

I took my car to Yosemite, and it did great on the curves and turns as well as on the dirt roads. In a national park, it was probably the smallest car there, but it handled the ruggedness well.
A Favor
This car is great for parking in the city. It has great features like multiple USB ports, Bluetooth for calling and playing music, and different modes for driving. It cools down and heats up quickly. It's also extremely cute in design -- it makes me smile every time I see it. I find it also to be really easy to maneuver, and it has some giddy up to it in the engine.
En Contra
The vehicle's size can sometimes make you feel small or insignificant on the road -- always on the watch for other cars who may not see you in their blind spot. I also don't love the fabric cushions, and the headrests in the backseat are pretty unbearable. They're like putting your head on a dinner plate.
