2005 Ford Focus - Reliable economy vehicle
I like my Ford focus for many reasons. It is dependable and gets decent gas mileage. It is great for bad weather conditions due to the wide tires with great traction. I hardly slide and able to take turns faster without tipping over.
I do not like that it is a 4-cylinder engine. This engine is unable to handle the fast freeway of 80 mph very well with out shaking problems. Nor is it capable of handling hills well without having to slow down like a semi truck. Plus, due to this smaller engine the required heater is also smaller which also takes more time to thaw windows and keep you warm while doing in town driving. It has to sit at least 10 minutes to warm it up enough to drive smoothly.

Yes, a memorable one is when I was in an accident with my friend. We had a side swipe due to the person in the right hand lane decided to turn left when I was beside them with no time to stop. Everyone was alright due to the fact that we were only going 25 mph speed zone area.
A Favor
The top positives is the awesome wide tires that has great traction for the snow and rainy weather. I do not slide as much as other vehicles that is the same size and weight of my Ford Focus.
I also like how the hatchback looks. The design of its overall car catches my eye.

2000 Ford Focus - Very reliable
I bought this car 15 years ago and it is still going strong. It has a lot of get up and go as well a great gas mileage for a car of it's age. It is a standard and does well driving in mountains or freeway. It seats 2 comfortably but because it is a 2 door it is difficult for more passengers to get in and out of the vehicle. It has a hatchback which is great for hauling stuff around. I was able to get a twin sized bed into this little car!
A Favor
This car can move! It accelerates quickly, without difficulty and handles very well. I have driven it in all different kinds of terrain and it performs well. Very reliable with little need for expensive maintenance, perfect for a single gal (like I was when I bought it). Love the hatchback, it let's the car hold a ton!
En Contra
I have had to replace the ignition 3 times in the life of the car. It is a major pain to have to deal with and not cheap. One time it was so bad that it locked up the entire steering column and we had difficulty getting it onto the tow truck so that it could be taken to the shop. It is also a small car and is really only ideal for 2 people. It is difficult for people in the back seat to get in and out of the car as it is a 2 door.

The person who helped me buy this car was very friendly, very personable. The price was reasonable for what was included. They had no issues replacing the tires and spark plug wires like I requested. Helped me get into a car as quickly as possible, just like I needed. Overall, a great experience.
