The all-new for 2020 Corolla Hybrid should be a consideration for any car shopper looking at hybrids. Featuring the same sleek and modern looks of the Corolla, the hybrid version is expected to get 52 combined MPG, which is the highest ever for any Corolla. The starting MSRP for the 2020 Corolla Hybrid is $23,100, which still makes it pretty reasonable for a hybrid variant of one of Toyota's most popular cars.

The hatchback Ioniq is only available as an alternative fuel vehicle. Along with the hybrid version, it also comes in an electric and a plug-in electric hybrid. The Ioniq is a four-door, small hatchback with plenty of cargo space, a premium cabin and a user-friendly infotainment system. The rear seat is somewhat cramped, but that's to be expected from a smaller car. The Ioniq was refreshed for 2019 to include a longer list of standard safety features as well as optional ones. The base Ioniq gets 57 city mpg and 59 highway mpg for a price tag of $22,400.
