This is the first time I have gotten an Acadia and was really looking forward to it. I got it in 08/2013 and was really attracted to the car's space. I wanted a 8 passenger car and it can seat all 8 people comfortably. I also feel really safe driving it; I drive on the highway a lot and I don't worry about being smushed if I get into a fender bender. I liked the look of the car; I'm used to driving large vehicles so it's length and width did not bother me. The trunk has decent space, but if you want more room I would recommend putting the third row down. Overall pretty fun crossover to drive, but here are the cons and they are big: fuel economy sucks. Lucky to get 20 miles to a gallon. And this car has less than 10,000 miles on it and we are already having transmission issues. When I'm going up hill, the transmission kicks back something horrific. Hopefully this sucker breaks down before 100,000 miles, I hate to have to pay for another transmission on another car.
