2009 Honda Civic - Solid, Reliable, and Sporty

This was our first Honda car, and it inspired us to purchase a second Honda when the time came to get another vehicle. It's been a reliable and trustworthy vehicle for so many years. If you've ever had a problem car, you'll know how nice it can be to not worry about your transportation breaking down or falling apart. This was that vehicle for our family. A Favor

The biggest pro is the car's reliability; we've never had any major unexpected issues with this car, only normal wear-and-tear replacement of parts and service. We have had some major parts replaced, but even then the fact that it's a common model of car means that the parts are easy to find second-hand and not exorbitantly expensive. Second to reliability is the fuel economy: this is still a very fuel-efficient car, even with it being an older model, and not having the fuel-use improvements that have come into production in the past 8 or so years. This model didn't come with Bluetooth technology, and the option to add in a connector for a music player device was ridiculously expensive at the time. Because of that we've had to stick with radio and CDs, or get a separate Bluetooth speaker to play music from any devices. That has been a bit frustrating with how accustomed we've become with curating our own music. It's also been a part of a number of the major airbag recalls that have come up in the past few years, which is kind of scary, especially since it is an older car. 2016 Honda Civic - Tried and true.

My husband has been an avid Honda Civic owner for many years. If it wasn't for his history with Honda Civic vehicles, I may not have considered this vehicle for purchase. Starting from the experience at the dealership, till today, I have had pride in ownership of my car. The dark grey body color with dark tinted windows from the factory really make this a stunning car to see. Driving this car is so fun! The way it reacts through any road condition makes me believe this car will be mine for a very long time. It idles well in heavy, commuting traffic but also makes you feel like you are floating through the miles during off-peak traffic hours.

A Favor

There are several pros to owning this car. I really like the Eco-system option on the vehicle. I'm able to monitor in real-time my fuel economy and adjust my driving conditions to get the most fuel efficiency. The controls on the dashboard and console are easy to use and I especially like the steering controls as another option for controlling most aspects of the console. I'm constantly using the Bluetooth option for listening to music or making phone calls with no issue. In all road conditions, this car operates like a champ. There has only been a couple of minor things that have annoyed me with this car. Day one of purchasing the brand new car that had 15 miles on the odometer and I noticed the back seat floorboard carpet was not installed with any type of car or attention to detail because immediately and without cause the carpet separated from the plastic frame of the car. It still to this day has to be occasionally "tucked" back into the plastic frame of the car. This issue has spread to other parts of the carpet of the car. It gave me the impression of cheap work in an otherwise seemingly nice car.

2012 Honda Civic - Howdy Honda Austin

The salesperson I worked with, Tracy, was very helpful and polite; he wasn't trying to oversell me anything, and was more than willing to work with me to find the exact used Civic I needed. When I told him the other dealerships and cars I was looking at, he was honest and said they sold good cars too. So summarily, I'd say the salesperson here had a lot to do with it. As far as service goes, it's also been good. I've never had any problems taking my car here for routine maintenance (just oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements so far). I did have one time where I had a "check emissions system" warning come on, and they diagnosed the problem fairly quickly as being a loose O-ring on the gas cap and replaced it under warranty without any hassle.

2013 Honda Civic - Howdy Honda Austin

The inside is large and clean and the salespeople are friendly and helpful without being too pushy. Great snacks and drinks if you need to wait! They were very patient with me while I was choosing a car color--they brought all the available options up to the front for me.

2014 Honda Civic - Howdy Honda Austin

First - the atmosphere inside. They have free gourmet coffee, water, soft drinks in 2 glass refrigerators. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. They make you feel like you are at a family reunion.

2006 Honda Civic - Enterprise Car Sales Austin

Well, it wasn't a really great deal. However, they were give me a pretty good deal for a used Honda Civic and the car was in a pretty good shape. The mileage was also pretty reasonable for the price paid.

They had great service and answered all of my questions without any sort of hesitation.
