My Honda Civic does exactly what I needed it to do. It's a dependable car that gets me to and from work as well as my kids to their after school activities. Since I drive 300-400 miles each week, my civic is very economical on gas. I fill my tank once per week for less than $100 per month! Although it is a small car, I am able to keep my son's lacrosse and MMA equipment in the trunk at all times and still have room to place most of my weekly groceries. On the other hand, my Civic is a concern when the weather is bad. I am very cautious, especially in the rain and when it's windy. I also find that the air conditioning could be more powerful, especially on hot summer days.

The 2005 Civic LX is a bare bones commuter car. It is basic transportation that gets you from point A to point B reliably. It has convenience features like a remote fob to lock/unlock doors, power windows/locks/mirrors, cruise control, and A/C. The car is comfortable enough for daily use and would make a great family car. It does all this while getting excellent fuel economy.
