My Fit was a practical choice, and it has been highly reliable for over 160,000 miles. It was great value for money, not only because of the relatively inexpensive purchase price and good fuel economy, but also because I've had to spend virtually nothing on repairs. It feels like it could go on forever with routine maintenance. It handles well and is great for commuting through traffic, but I've also taken it on bumpy, rutted dirt roads with no issues. Despite the small size, it is comfortable even for my 6'+ frame. It provides ample storage space. It has a distinctive, streamlined look.

I was looking for a new or used car that would give me a payment of $250 or less per month. I also needed to be able to fit at least two car seats inside plus two strollers in the trunk, as I am expecting our second child in November of 2016. I used to own a fit in 2010 and loved the quality of the finishes and how solid it felt, along with how amazingly roomy it was on the inside. For 2016 I was able to get a 6-speed manual transmission with a sunroof plus rear and side view cameras - these options were not available in 2010 in the model with a manual transmission. I am easily able to fit everything that I need for my children in this car, get amazing gas mileage - 35+mpg in mixed driving - be comfortable with 4 adults in the car, plus my payments are well under $250/month - I am in LOVE with this car.
