The Honda pilot is a nice ride. It has 8 seats, more than any other car! The Pilot is the winner for power and torque, and it remains one of the smoothest and most pleasant powercars in this arena. The five-speed automatic transmission in the Pilot feels a slightly indecisive under lighter loads, but it smooths out and shifts quickly when you need to move rapidly. The Pilot does have quite a bit more durability built in than the typical car. It lets me get out on the trailhead and take the less-traveled road, as well as the long car ride to ski resorts. I can fit tons of stuff into the pilot. In the end, the Honda pilot makes me feel like a superhero. The handling was great, the 4WD helped me under the most icy and tenuous conditions, and the luxurious interior made me feel like a celebrity.
