The car is very stylish and I feel very safe driving it. The gas mileage is good relative to other cars this size. It is great on the highway and fantastic in bad weather.

My 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport is a purchase I would make again. We have had to make some repairs due to the age. The repairs include a new exhaust system and a new brake line. Even with the repairs, this is a sturdy, solid vehicle. I do not hesitate to put my kids into this Jeep, nor do I worry about their safety. For parents of young children, the ability to strap down a car seat in this Jeep has provided the most sturdy buckle of any vehicle I've ever driven, including newer cars. The car seat does not move at all and remains solidly in place. The rear capacity is fairly spacious. We put our large jogging stroller back there most of the time and are still able to load other small items. If I am going grocery shopping, I do remove the stroller to have more room, but I don't have to. The back seat also folds down for large item transport. I drove home a twin bed frame in this. This is my favorite vehicle that I have ever driven in the snow. I was not scared at all, and I did not slip or slide. I felt very safe in the snow and ice. Last year, we had an ice storm where many cars crashed, and our Jeep made it home safely. This is probably my favorite vehicle that I have ever owned, and I would buy it again.
