I absolutely love my Kia.
I love my Kia Sorento. It has great space and wonderful to use on long trips. I have had no mechanical issues to date. It is a bit pricey on gas as it gets about 18 mpg city but that is expected of an older SUV. However, I would definitely recommend this if you have a family. The interior is very comfortable and the back is great for storage space. I have taken trips all over FL and it has been an absolute treasure.

It's alright for what you pay for.
As a cheap Kia, it's been reliable enough. Used it for a couple years now, and the only mechanical issue it's suffered is a couple plugs/injectors dying from ordinary wear and tear. It's a bit dated by current standards, however, it still has luxury accommodations (seat warmer, etc.). I've been meaning to retrofit with an onboard computer/HUD, seeing as the CD player is effectively worthless in this day and age. The fuel economy isn't terrible by SUV standards. Safety-wise the crumple zones seem to work. Spun out on an icy highway one winter and struck a guardrail. Tore a hole in the front bumper, but the vehicle itself suffered no damage.
