1999 Lexus GS 400 - Great first car
This was the first car I ever owned and I loved it. It wasn't over the top by any means or what you think of when you think of the Lexus brand. It was a good, solid and dependable car. It was always working and got me from point A to point B. I liked that it was a newer car, and it had the brand name to it. I loved the leather seats because I never had a hard time cleaning them. I was never a fan of fabric so the leather was always more comfortable. It's pretty cold in Chicago, so despite the few warmer months in the summer time, I never really had issues with the leather seats. We took this car into Chicago for a girls' trip in high school. We got so lost and almost ran out of gas, but luckily someone figured out the highway to get back onto to head home.
A Favor
My favorite part of the car was the leather seats. They were sexy, sleek and super comfortable. I don't enjoy cleaning car seats too much, which I never had to do really because if anything ever got dirty or a drink fell over, I could just wipe it off without any staining or issues with the fabric. They were always looking nice, and they were much more comfortable on my butt than the fabric is. I also loved the sunroof when I first got the car because nobody else had a sunroof. It wasn't the best on gas, and I always had to spend more money getting the higher grade fuel, which as a high school kid was a lot of money. I also took it in for special oil changes because that it what they required of the car, which also cost more money. Anytime you drive a Lexus, there is this notion that people assume behind it. It was a great car, but people were underwhelmed by it once they actually saw it. It really wasn't that different from the Hondas my friends were driving, but I ended up spending more money on it for the brand name. We also had a lot of issues with the engine... (more)

Smooth, comfortable and looks great, The exterior design is a standout and the finish always looks good. It has a powerful engine and nice driving position with a simple interior. Significant engine improvements. For this model, daytime running lights and a perforated leather trim were added. The SC 400 had a very powerful 4.0 liter V-8 engine, boosted by Variable Valve Timing technology. Top speed was listed as 149 mph. The SC's four-wheel independent suspension provided a smooth and stable ride throughout the speed range, and wind and engine noise were aptly muted even at high speeds. 2007 Lexus GS 400 - The car for your needs
This car is a very perfect balance between luxury, comfyness, performance price and quality. It is a good car. It has a top notch 1.8 engine, so performance is not an issue.

We used to do a lot of family travels in the car. We had a lot of nice memories in that car.
