I've had the Lexus RX-300 for 6 years, after inheriting it from my parents. I believe it's the first generation of Lexus SUVs. While pricey at the time, it's been a great car with few issues, even after 150,000 plus miles. I've driven it across the country (New Hampshire to Houston, Dallas to Jacksonville and back, frequent Houston to Dallas trips) many times with no issues. It's never broken down, never caused problems that I didn't cause myself, i.e., dead battery due to the door being left open. I've been really pleased with its reliability and look forward to a few more years of life out of it yet.

I purchased a Lexus 300. It was a 2000 silver. Beautiful suv. Very roomy and clean. I loved all the trunk space and room to move around. It was an older vehicle so of course it wasn't completely up to date. The car performed great for a while. Then the engine light came in within a week of purchase, and we realized we had bought a lemon. If it wasn't a lemon, it would have been a great buy.

I have a 99 Lexus RX 300. I bought it about a year ago. It is a dark green color with a grey trim at the bottom. It has leather seats, traction control and a sun roof. I love how much room there is in the vehicle. My daughter really enjoys the vehicle as well. I like how high up I am in comparison to a sedan vehicle. I like the large windshield. I feel like it gives me a really great view of everything. For safety, this is a huge plus.
