This is a wonderful car that I fell in love with upon first sitting in one and driving it. There is a good amount of cabin room in both the front and the back, and there is a very spacious trunk. The sport model comes with a 3.0L V6 engine, so there is some "giddy up" to this practical vehicle. I have had a few issues with mine personally (transmission, engine misfire, O2 sensor), but only the O2 sensor seems to be an issue with more than just my vehicle.

Mazda 6, a stylish ride.

I bought my 2014 Mazda6 about 6 months ago, after my 2001 Honda Civic died with almost 250,000 miles on it. Initially I was looking at a new Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla, but after test driving them found them too small and uncomfortable. Upgrading to the Accord or Camry did not improve comfort. I expanded my search, and found the Mazda6. It is roomy enough for 5 people to ride comfortably, but still gets great gas mileage. It has great pickup, and handles responsively. Good ABS brakes. Finally, it looks great!
