Purchased in 2009 with over 125,000 miles on it - the Mercury Mountaineer has enabled me to set up camp off-road, take friends with me, tow trailers for moving and camp meets, and so much more. It's structural build of a truck on a car chassis seems odd; but, with the four wheel drive and engine - it can easily navigate off roads while simultaneously being able to turn on a dime. Heater cores and coolant leaks seem to be the regular thing with which I wrestle. One grand was invested to replace the heater core, and leaking hoses followed a year later. The cost of gas for this vehicle is astronomical. 17 To 22 mpg is no way to live and this vehicle is one that while family and camping friendly, should be saved for camping trips and moving only. It can however be put through it's pace... (more)
Historia
The folks of Washington State are not known for being able to drive on snow. You would think given the geographic location that people would know what cars should and shouldn't go out on the roads with or without chains. I've admittedly greatly enjoyed the fact that my vehicle has been able to navigate terrain in all kinds of adverse conditions.
A Favor
I am a participant in a live-action roleplaying game. At least once a month I go off onto varying different camp sites. This usually involves carrying three people, and hauling all of our camping gear. The space and the ability to tow a trailer really comes in handy and fulfills all of my real need for the vehicle. It turns on a dime and handles exceptionally well.
En Contra
The age of the car make it a bit frustrating. Having no money to really be able to afford a replacement stereo system, I rely largely on a tape to mp3-player hook-up to listen to my preferred music. The antennae is easily removable, and even when it full collapses it is still at great risk of being pulled out in a car wash due to its design. Mostly - the cost of gas and the repairs that come with the age of the vehicle make it a bit frustrating to deal with.

I have viewed a couple of cars here on multiple occasions. The people here have always been kind and helpful. I don't have the best credit and they are always willing to help and do whatever they can to make things happen. From the first time I visited was good first impression will bring me back to buy a car when they have something I want to move forward with. Keep up the good work!

This dealership was responsive to what I was looking for. They negotiated well with me. The customer service was great and I would give them 5 stars easily and recommend them to others for their vehicles purchases
