It Could Be Worse!
The Sentra is an economy car (except the SE-R trim level, which is a street racer), but it doesn't live up to one's expectations of a Japanese economy car. Yes, it's pretty well designed, but the reliability I expected just isn't there. I used to drive a Sunfire, and it got mileage almost as good but with a lot more pep.

One of the best cars in the market.
I own a 2001 Nissan Sentra. It's a 2.0 L SE manual transmission vehicle. When I bought it, it had 80,000 miles on it; and over the last two years, I've added another 20,000 miles on it. The car has held up exceptionally well considering it is 16 years old. Aside from regular oil changes, I have not had any work done on the car. The interior quality of the car has also held up; there are no rips or tears in any of the sears. The buttons are responsive and clean. I like that it has manual transmission, I haven't had to replace the clutch. The gear lever is smooth and fluid, handling is very tight and sporty on the car.

The owners help you as if they were just regular salesmen. They care about the customers. I described what I wanted, which was different than what I purchased, but the guy knew what car was easier on the price and I was happier with it than I would have been with my original purchase, which they would have made more money from. They are nice, attentive and don't seem like "run of the mill just trying to sell you anything" car dealers. My family only goes here when we need new cars.
