2013 Nissan Versa - Great Car
The 2013 Nissan Versa is spacious, comfortable, fun to drive, and retains that new-car scent for years!
Historia
Having a car is required for San Diego, so a comfortable car with a manual transmission, like the Nissan Versa, makes every commute a fun one.
A Favor
I drive the version with the manual transmission so power is not a concern even with the small, efficient engine. Gas mileage is great and there has been nothing wrong with the car in the 3 years I've owned it. There is a LOT of trunk space which can easily hold the luggage of a carful of people or anything needed for camping or road-trips.
En Contra
The car sits really low to the ground, which is great for gas mileage and handling but not so great for performing your own maintenance. The interior is comfortable enough but feels a bit "cheap" and "plastic" compared to other offerings.
2016 Nissan Versa - One of my biggest regrets.
I do not like the vehicle at all. It's barely better than having nothing. The vehicle barely has any leg room inside. When you travel with your family, it feels very cramped and claustrophobic in the vehicle.
Historia
I drive it to the local casino with friends and have fun gambling. I always use the valet so they have to park my vehicle for me.
A Favor
It was somewhat cheap to finance in comparison to other better vehicles. So far the paint is holding up pretty good. The power windows are nice. The AC is cold enough and heat works well. The heater almost gets too hot which is good on snowy and rainy days.
En Contra
Too small inside. Windshield wipers do not move fast enough when there is heavy rain and snow. Even in light and medium rain, there is an issue with seeing because the windshield wiper speed is too slow even on the "fastest" setting. It is built with an interference engine. So if the timing belt breaks, it will ruin the engine and cost a fortune. The sound of the vehicle is extremely noisy inside while travelling. So noisy that it is highly annoying.
