The truck is built to last. Having owned it for over 10 years, and it being almost 25 years old, I am just now replacing original parts on it that have finally needed to be replaced (ball joints, shocks, ac compressor) The only thing lacking on the vehicle is the engine power, it is a 3.0 liter and just doesn't have much horsepower. The other thing that doesn't work well for a DIY (do it yourself) person, is the engineering of some of the components. Changing bushings in the gear box, working on fuel filters and CV axles, can test your patience. Overall, even with the hardships, I would not trade anything for this. It has always been reliable and worked when needed.

There is so much to love about my 2006 4x4 4Runner Limited. It is the most mechanically sound, comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. It handles exceptionally well, has excellent visibility and is very safe. The V6 engine has plenty of get up and go, and I can pull a travel trailer or utility trailer with ease.
