This was the best purchase I could have made! I bought the car in 2009, right after I completed college. This was the middle of a recession and gas prices were high. The Corolla had an affordable payment and was great on gas mileage. In fact, I paid the payment with money I saved from fueling a 1999 Z71. I was commuting 100 miles each day so the Corolla was perfect. The quality has been off the charts! I have done nothing except the routine maintenance every 5,000 miles and have had no problems with any of the mechanical components. The only dislike is that I had to go with a pretty base model due to budget constraints, and in 2009 base was base. I have power windows, locks, and keyless entry---that is it for luxury. However, this may have added to the longevity of the car as I have had no electrical issues. The paint has not held up well, but I haven't exactly done my best to issue it is cleaned and waxed.

The Toyota Corolla was bought used with 130k miles. There have been no problems with any of the engine components, and routine maintenance keeps the car running without any issues. The mileage per tank has barely decreased, even after putting an additional 35k miles on the engine, and the accessories that came with the car all function perfectly. There are plenty of cup holders, and the interior feels spacious and roomy.
