I absolutely love my 4 runner. Its very easy to maintain and repair on your own. It has enough room for my 2 children and wife to go everywhere comfortably. Plus tons of room for groceries, camping equipment, or our dog. The only trouble I've had has been that the slave cylinder goes out frequently but it is so cheap and easy to repair its not a big deal.

After having driven the 2001 Toyota 4Runner for over 215,000 miles, I can say it has been one of the most dependable vehicles I have ever owned. The interior is basic but has held up to constant daily wear and tear from moving furniture, commuting to work and carrying golf clubs. There have been a few major repairs such as replacing the timing component, U-Joints, and radiator, but given the total mileage, it has been a good cost-effective vehicle that makes very few demands upon the owner in terms of maintenance.
