I got this car as a 17 year old, and I really didn't know what I wanted from a vehicle. However, my parents helped me decide on a Toyota, and the vehicle's high mileage meant it was priced very reasonably. The car has been with me for approximately five years, and I have absolutely no complaints. As a young and at times inattentive person, it has gotten scratched up and acquired a few dents but has always kept me safe. The car still drives well despite high mileage. I have replaced the battery once and the tires a few times. The only issues I have encountered have been related to the car alarm. It goes off very easily, which is annoying, and whenever someone does work on my car, they have to disable the alarm because otherwise it yells at them. If I unlock the car in an unusual way, it thinks it is being stolen. However, to disable the alarm I just have to hit unlock a few times to reassure it. The car's interior is spacious and more comfortable than any of my friend's cars, so for many years, I was the designated driver of my group of friends because of my car. I've always used my back seat and trunk for storage while moving. I have also noticed that a lot of people my age have the exact same car as I do. At my old apartment complex, there would be three grey Toyota Camrys lined up in the parking lot. I think that is because it is a very practical car for someone who is starting out and doesn't want to feel too guilty if their car doesn't remain in pristine condition. Honestly, I love this car, because it is sturdy, and it keeps me safe and comfortable.
