2007 Toyota Corolla - Worth every penny!
I own a 2007 Toyota Corolla. I bought the car brand new and have put 114,000 miles with minimal maintenance. It is a great car for a long commute (35 miles one way) and has lots of storage for a small car.
Historia
My husband and I spent many hours in this car exploring the great Midwest while dating. It is a great road trip car because it has great gas mileage.
A Favor
This car gets great gas mileage (35 mpg on the highway). I also really like the dark slate color and gray interior. It also has a 6-disc CD changer, which is not common for cars built at this time.
En Contra
I bought this car while single, but now that I have a family it is a bit tight with car seats and kids things.
2006 Toyota Corolla - Eh, not great
Bought this Corolla used and it was kind of in bad shape when I got it. It was my first car so it was cheap but was beat up. The interior was stained and worn. The outside had quite a lot of knicks and scuffs. The car ran OK but needed a lot of repairs. I ended up selling it pretty quickly after I got it because it was too much repairs for what it was worth. Not sure how much is the car's fault or the previous owners.
Historia
The most memorable experience was selling this car. I really hated it and was so happy to get rid of it.
A Favor
It was affordable. It was easy to drive and use in the sense that everything was intuitive.
En Contra
The car was beat up when I bought it. It needed a new transmission probably at 100k miles after it started leaking. Then it was just break after break. The timing belt broke. AC went out. It became too much and I sold it.
