2012 Toyota Yaris - Good car
I like how fuel efficient the car is, I average about 38 MPG city and highway combined. It's a good get-around car for two people. We can fit camping gear and bikes or skis no problem. It would be too small to take four people camping but, fewer than that, it works great. It accelerates pretty slowly, but that's to be expected in a sub-compact with the HP it has.

Driving it up to Dillon, CO in two feet of fresh powder. That was quite the experience, but we made it and won't ever try that again.
A Favor
I like the MPG and the space it has for the size it is. I have the hatchback and we can easily fit camping gear for two people for several days in the back. It also handles the snow pretty well for a front wheel drive. It's a good vehicle for the price point and very reliable.
En Contra
The clearance is pretty low so not great for going off road or getting through a lot of snow in the winter. It is also very small so it tracks grooved cement on the highway if that is how the highway is made, this makes you feel a bit out of control when driving at high speeds. Acceleration is pretty slow if you care about that, if not, then it isn't a problem.
2015 Toyota Yaris - Perfect for me
The interior has ample room for my needs. I love that I can fold down the backseats (either both or just 1 side) to fit larger items in the hatch.
One thing I find unique about the car is it's 1 large windshield wiper. I cleans more windshield space than the regular 2 wipers, which I like. The car has excellent gas mileage with an eco light that keeps my usage in check and also enhances my better driving habits.

I love sporting around with my camera. I drive into the mountains. I live in Colorado and I have no problem climbing 14'rs in the Yaris
