Be careful because a lot of people drive through Tuscaloosa so there are many inexperienced drivers in the area who travel through and aren't the greatest drivers.

There are many locations on McFarland, but definitely travel south toward Birmingham and you will find a ton of lots plus a huge plant that makes BMWs, which means good prices at the dealerships in the area.

I enjoy driving down McFarland because it is a long stretch right through Tuscaloosa that showcases their best shopping places. The plaza, the mall, Target and a brand new shopping center.

The stretch that runs along the riverbank is the best part. Often you can see sunsets in the evenings that light up the sky. It also is right next to the trail where joggers run along the river, which makes it pretty.
