I purchased my first car after graduation, and I turned out to the TDi version of the Jetta. I am a mechanical engineer and love music. So I choose the SEl version, which has the fender audio system. I also was impressed with the diesel technology, that the clean and fuel efficient car gravitated me towards a diesel Jetta. The price was also attractive. The car was awesome, still is. Has a good ummph to it. Runs perfectly, the quality of materials are superior to other cars in its class. I am overall contented with the car. If I take the recent scandal into account, the future of my car is uncertain, will it have a good resale value, will it require extensive modification. Only time will tell.

The Jetta is a great car for your personal use. It is an excellent mid-size sedan that is perfect for a small family of three such as myself. The exterior has a sleek, yet simple design. The interior is beautiful, seats are very comfortable to sit in especially for long drives. I have experienced zero issues thus far. It has proven to be a very reliable car since the day I purchased brand new off the lot. The sound system is all around great.
