Reliable, sturdy, and safe.
The Volvo S70 was created in 1998. It has a luxurious style for those who like the classy look. I have had the car since 2011 with 180,000 miles on it already. I must say that this car has been good to me. Despite having more than 180,000 miles on it, it takes me where I need to go. For the three years that I have had it there have only been minor issues. I had to get the struts replaced and the brake piping done which only cost me a few hundred bucks. The car is super sturdy. The car flipped over more than once in a car accident involving the previous owner. You cannot tell at all because there is not a scratch on the roof top. I think the only problem I have with this car is with the inside appearance. By the time I got it, the inside was falling apart. The leather seats were dull and ripped. The glove compartment wouldn't stay shut and the steering wheel covering was starting to peel. On top of all that, the seats are extremely uncomfortable. With that being said, I would definitely purchase another Volvo. I plan to make that a reality very soon.

Trusted and Tested.
This is the first and only car I've ever owned. I learned to drive in it, I crashed it, got it repaired, and drove it all the way up the coast to school. It's been with me every step of the way and not only is it incredibly safe (the same model saved a family member's life several years back!) But it remains more gas efficient than some of the models 15 years younger than it.

Best economic car I have ever owned
My carhas over 250,000 miles on it and still runs excellent. Not only does it run well, for an older car it has some pretty great features - like heated seats. The only thing I find dislikable at this point is that things are slowly starting to go out on it and mess up in tiny ways - the shifter button sticks and you have to wiggle it to get it to stay in place; the driver's heated seat button won't stay on unless you wiggle it or place something heavy on it, etc. Also the biggest downfall of this model is that every single one I have ever encountered has had the same exact problem: it burns oil. This tends to happen with older cars, yes. But the fact that every single one of this particular car I have ever seen has had the same problem makes me wonder why. I have had to replace a few parts over the time I've had it, but overall it is a very very good car and I would definitely buy another one in good condition.
