Used Volvo S70 for Sale

This 1998 Volvo S70 is a beautiful machine. It still looks great as we have kept it in fine condition. People cannot believe it is 18 years old. The paint is still white and clean looking. The engine runs well as my husband has continually done the proper maintenance. The car takes off easily and quickly, going up the Harbor Bridge without any problem. The build quality has been sound and sturdy. The safety measures that Volvo took when they made this car was the best. I feel comfortable and very safe in this handsome car.

The vehicle has screaming brakes that do not always feel as is they are fulling engaging. The sun roof leaks, which has caused a recurring problem in regards to windows fogging in the warmer months. I was told when I bought it the parking break had just been fixed, but that was not true (it did not engaged when pulled). The radio barely works because the antenna fell off, and the last owner put in a cheap stereo from Radio Shack. The interior panels are falling off as well. Other than that, it handles well in the snow and has good pick-up on the highway.

Heavy car, will withstand a crash. Rides smooth. Great radio. Ample room in front. Ample room in back with lots of leg room. Love the gadgets included. This is the fourth Volvo I have owned, and I would buy again and again. Love the windshield wipers on the front headlights. Bought with 150,000 miles on it, and I expect it to go for many more miles. Love the heated seats. The heaviness of the car helps me avoid getting stuck in the snow. Gets decent in town mileage and great highway mileage. The trunk area is huge. Easy to maintain and easy to change out parts. Don't care for metric system though. Much prefer it not be that. Even though I bought an older car, this interior was immaculate. Love the pockets on the back of the seat. Great storage for my grandson to put his things in and have them at arms reach. Back brake light went out and to change it was a breeze. Brake pads just snap on, which makes maintenance a breeze.
