A GREAT CAR!
This 1998 Volvo S70 is a beautiful machine. It still looks great as we have kept it in fine condition. People cannot believe it is 18 years old. The paint is still white and clean looking. The engine runs well as my husband has continually done the proper maintenance. The car takes off easily and quickly, going up the Harbor Bridge without any problem. The build quality has been sound and sturdy. The safety measures that Volvo took when they made this car was the best. I feel comfortable and very safe in this handsome car.

Love my Volvo
This is the first vehicle I bought and made payments on myself and I'm stil happy with my choice. It's great on gas, and has made it through dozens of cross country road trips. It's great for interstate travel with virtually no road noise and absolutely no rattling or shaking. The only thing I dislike is finding a reputable mechanic because when things do go wrong with a Volvo, it's usually a big issue. In my six years of owning this vehicle I have averaged about one major repair a year ranging anywhere from $400-$1,200 including but not limited to new coils, throttle, struts, radiator, and air conditioning work.

A stylish tank
The burgundy Volvo S70 I owned was a very nice looking stylish yet conservative car. I very much liked its unique boxy look, its ability to handle winter weather, its sturdiness on the road (when semi-tractor trailers passed by it would not be budged by the pulling wind of the larger vehicles), and its leather interior. What I did not enjoy was the cost of replacing parts that broke down, which occurred nearly every 6 months, and the price of gas needed for it, consequence of a heavy vehicle - it took more gas to fuel it.
