I've never been anything but pleased with my 2013 Ford Escape. The mileage is fantastic, and I love how easy it is to see the fuel mileage the car has been getting. The Escape is comfortable and roomy, which makes it the perfect choice if you're thinking about starting a family. Not only is it the perfect height for placing a car seat into, it is at a good height for easing older family members into the car. You don't have to crouch down to get into it, it's an easy slide. The rear seats fold down to be completely flat with the back storage area, which makes it easy to fit large items into it. The back hatch has several different ways to open, from the inside of the car, to the key fob, to several buttons on the hatch itself. Grocery shopping has never been easier - the Escape can hold... Story
Once I purchased this car, I started noticing Ford Escapes all over my town. My husband even texted me once to see why I wasn't at work when it reality, it was someone else's car in the same color.
Pros
The rear hatch is one of my favorite features of the Ford Escape, as it just makes it a million times easier to load anything into the vehicle. The Escape also gets excellent fuel mileage, a huge plus for someone driving miles to get to work each day.
Cons
In the back storage compartment, there is a removable shade than can extend from the rear seats to the back hatch. This shade wobbles often, which can be annoying. I also rarely use this shade, so it just gets in the way most of the time.

I do not know much about vehicles, but I bought this vehicle used at a local auto dealer. Even used, it has been one of the best vehicles I have ever had, and I really like it. It has enough room for all of the family and doesn't drink a lot of gas. There is a nice, roomy console in between the driver and passenger to store items that also has a cup holder for two cups. There is also a cup holder in the back that pulls down and folds up for the kids. We took a very long trip in this vehicle, and it never once broke down. It was at least five thousand miles in a used vehicle, and it never let me down. My Ford Escape is still running strong.
Story
One time, my son accidentally locked my keys in the car not too long after I purchased it. I was anxious because I had to get to work and get them to school. Others tried to pry into the car and get the keys out. It was running the entire time, and the heater was on! I had been getting the car warmed up for the drive. No matter how hard they tried, they were unable to break into my car to... (more)
Pros
Fold down cup holders in back. Speakers in doors. Remote lock. Cruise control. Fold down backseat. Cubby in the trunk area. Child lock.
Cons
Hard to install a new stereo system and not enough trunk space.

I didn't love the dealership, but they had a large selection of vehicles. I didn't care for the people, but eventually I got what I would consider a great vehicle at a fair price

The sales guy that we used was great! He is direct, no nonsense, he seemed to be honest. He did not act like most sales guys we have used in the past.
