My Ford Escape is the perfect vehicle for my lifestyle. I have two children and a dog. We travel constantly, and there is always enough room for us in the vehicle. The backseats can go down also, so when I want to go bike riding on a trail, I don't have to install a bike rack on the back.
Story
After the Spurs won in the playoffs, we went driving and honking downtown with the rest of San Antonio.
Pros
My Escape is equipped with a rear view camera. It beeps and displays colors depending on how close you are to hitting an object. The vehicle is very quiet when you turn it on, so sometimes I'm unsure if I turned the key or not. The Escape drives extremely smooth compared to other similar vehicles. The trunk opens and closes with a button, so no manual labor is needed. The display on the drivers side has options, such as speed, mileage, or how many miles you have left until your gas runs out. It also has a touch screen in the middle with Bluetooth, so I never have to use my phone while... (more)
Cons
I honestly have no negative things to say about the Ford Escape.

2007 Ford Escape - Easy to maneuver

The 2007 Ford Escape XLT is a high enough off of the ground to qualify as your typical SUV yet small enough to enjoy driving and parking in tight spaces such as historical downtown areas. The vehicle has parts that can last for a quite some time with regular maintenance and superficial care. What I like about the 2007 Ford Escape XLT is its ability to maneuver carefully on wet roads and through conditions such as snow.
Story
During the snowy months and rainy seasons, it was more easy to maneuver the 2007 Ford Escape XLT (with four-wheel drive) than with a car that is lower to the ground. As many have experienced, driving one black ice can be a tricky encounter, but I have found this vehicle to work very well even in these conditions. Of course, this has to be done with careful handling of any vehicle.
Pros
The 2007 Ford Escape XLT provides features such as four-speed automatic, it has a quick get-up when accelerating, and travels well on the interstates with about 21 miles to the gallon. It is a four-wheel drive SUV. Also, for a typical three-hour drive (i.e. day trip), one can enjoy filling up the tank maybe only twice. For the most part, it gives good fuel mileage with regular maintenance.
Cons
The 2007 Ford Escape XLT is not as aerodynamic as I would have hoped for it to be. High speeds (especially in places such as Europe) and constant acceleration can actually wear on the transmission, causing frequent replacements if not careful.
