The car was purchased used at five years old and had around 125K miles on it. It now has just over 235K and is still a good runner. The four-wheel drive is excellent for snowy Midwest winters, and the size is perfect for hauling stuff for camping or gardening. It has never let me down. Over the years I have had minimal maintenance: new brakes a couple years ago, ball joints about six years ago, but nothing major you wouldn't expect. The running boards are starting to rust off now, but it has been kept outside for all of its life.
Story
Was on my property and needed to get to the top of the hill where a campsite was set up. Another four-wheel vehicle couldn't climb the hill, but mine went up with ease.
Pros
My favorite features are the size. It is great for carrying everything you need for a weekend get away. I like the fact it doesn't have a computer system taking up half the dash; all the controls are easy to find and use. It has a door-locking mechanism you can access from the rear hatch. It doesn't have a stupid huge key fob you have to carry in your pocket, and all the doors open with a key, even the hatch. I also like that the shift is on the tree, so I can have a catchall container between the seats on the floor instead of a big shifter taking up space. I also like the cloth seats, the... (more)
Cons
I wish it had a few more little pockets for storing things. The rear wiper never quite seats perfect, so it only wipes half the window. The gas mileage is not great. It doesn't have USB or multiple CD player.

My wife and I were wanting to upgrade our vehicles due to the fact that we are hopefully going to have a larger family than our two current children. We also hated how when we would go anywhere, we could not bring anyone or else subject them to the confines of sitting between two car seats. We for sure knew that we did NOT want a mini van as we didn't want to be one of "those parents"! We looked at the Chevy Traverse but were never very satisfied with the drive or the reviews. We stumbled into a Ford dealership and instantly fell in love with this car. We love how it handles and how great it looks. It is built on a truck chassis, so it handles the road much better than other SUV's that are on car or a van chassis. It gets fairly descent gas mileage and the tech features are awesome (to... Story
The first time that my son got to sit in the 3rd row he was instantly in love with the vehicle. He loved how high he was sitting and how he could see everything as we drove along. He also loved how you can hook a smartphone via Bluetooth and listen to music or the audio from his favorite game.
Pros
The handling of this vehicle is a huge selling point. The dash and the center console is a great feature with touch screens and very easily readable gauges and monitors. Sound of the vehicle is great as well. The seats are very roomy and plenty of headroom and legroom even for me (6'5"). When seats fold up (easy to do) there also is a great amount of room for laying larger things down.
Cons
When seats are all up (all three rows) there is little to no room in the back of the vehicle (barely enough to hold a stroller or a few bags of groceries). We also wished it had a split 2nd row (captain seats) but that was an upgrade that was a little beyond our budget.

They seemed to care about me. They followed up with phone calls, not just when dealing with them but also after I bought my vehicle. They still call today to check on me.

I was originally very unsure about the type of car I wanted, but I knew my old car needed to go. Over the span of a couple different days/ weekends, the employees at the dealership were very pleasant and lead me to finding the perfect car to fit my needs. They were always very prompt and responsive. I overall had a great experience working with them. I love my new car and certainly appreciate all the help and support the staff gave to me.
