Used Ford Explorer for Sale in Green Bay, WI

The car was purchased used at five years old and had around 125K miles on it. It now has just over 235K and is still a good runner. The four-wheel drive is excellent for snowy Midwest winters, and the size is perfect for hauling stuff for camping or gardening. It has never let me down. Over the years I have had minimal maintenance: new brakes a couple years ago, ball joints about six years ago, but nothing major you wouldn't expect. The running boards are starting to rust off now, but it has been kept outside for all of its life.

My wife and I were wanting to upgrade our vehicles due to the fact that we are hopefully going to have a larger family than our two current children. We also hated how when we would go anywhere, we could not bring anyone or else subject them to the confines of sitting between two car seats. We for sure knew that we did NOT want a mini van as we didn't want to be one of "those parents"! We looked at the Chevy Traverse but were never very satisfied with the drive or the reviews. We stumbled into a Ford dealership and instantly fell in love with this car. We love how it handles and how great it looks. It is built on a truck chassis, so it handles the road much better than other SUV's that are on car or a van chassis. It gets fairly descent gas mileage and the tech features are awesome (touch screen, Sync, etc.). All in all, it was a great car for our growing family.
