2012 Ford Focus - Quick, fuel-efficient, easy to handle car!
Vehicle performance was my favorite part. It felt sporty for an inexpensive car. It handled well and seemed quick for a smaller powered engine. Fuel efficiency cannot be beat! Was a little tight with a family of four and luggage or equipment, but great for driving to/from work and errands.
Story
It is very easy to park, which makes it easy to run errands with. It is very easy to drop kids off at school, since it is easy to drive through the school drop off line. No chance of scraping any other cars nearby!
Pros
Quick. Fuel efficient. Easy to handle. Fun to drive. Easy to park.
Cons
The transmission would shake once in a while. I believe this was recalled. Tinted windows (which I did not have) are a must, as it retains heat inside and there are no back seat air vents to cool down entire car. Front air vents are positioned to blow right into my face. Small interior/storage space for large family.
2006 Ford Focus - Great little car
Great little car that is dependable and fun to drive. The car has over 230k miles, and it runs great.
Story
Much smaller than most SUVs, so it is always easy to park. I enjoy taking spots that no one else can park in.
Pros
Small, quick, nimble, dependable and fun to drive. Parts are easy to get and affordable.
Cons
When engine mounts start wearing out, it becomes a bit loud in the car when accelerating. Only one door lock accessible from the exterior on the driver side, passenger side door must be opened using wireless key fob or from interior.
