2016 Ford Focus - Love MY Ford Focus
I love my Ford Focus. It is quite roomy for a compact car. There is lots of leg room for back seat passengers and the trunk is huge. Fuel economy is also great. I drive to and from work daily and occasionally into the city, and a tank of gas usually lasts me two weeks. The rear park assist is a life saver. I can clearly see what is behind me when pulling out of a parking spot. The 2016 Ford Focus is a great small car and I highly recommend it.
Story
It was the first week that I bought the car and I went to a concert with a friend. We were lost and had to make a sharp lane change. My friend was so surprised at how fast we got up to speed. She said that her Nissan couldn't do that. I was quite happy.
Pros
I love how roomy the Focus is.
It rides great.
It has great fuel economy.
Cons
The styling on the Focus could be a bit better. The nose is a little too pointy and looks sort of weird. There is also a lack of enough cup holders.
I wish I had purchased the model with the on board navigation system. You can connect your phone to the Sync system, but it is annoying to use.
2013 Ford Focus - Ford Focus
My 2013 focus has been anything but a pain to deal with since I bought it. Every three months, I am at the dealership waiting for two hours as they fix the transmission. It has a known electrical problem and the car "jumps" as you step on the gas.
Story
My husband and I spent a week in Rocky Mountain National Park. We had planned to camp in several different locations; it was mid-spring so the temps were nice. We took our Focus, and it did great going up the mountain. Every day it rained, and one time it rained so hard it was hard to walk in. We made it to the Focus and sat out a huge storm.
