2012 Ford Fusion - Fuel efficient and reliable
I got my 2012 Ford Fusion SE about a year and a half ago, and it has been a great car so far. I got my car used, and it actually had quite a lot of miles on it (120,000). None the less, this car has been reliable, fuel efficient and overall a really great car. I have had very few problem regarding this care. Just this week was the first time my check engine light has ever come on, and it turned out to be just a fluke thing pertaining to the fact that these cars have no gas cap. Routine tire rotation and oil changes are the only things I have had to pay for since getting this car.
Story
I have to say living up north I experience some dreadful weather, but this car has got me threw it all. It tell you every time you lose traction, and it moves through the snow pretty good for a smaller car.
Pros
One of my favorite aspects of this car is how loud the speakers are! The speakers that come with the car are absolutely incredible. Ford Fusions definitely bump. Another pro to this car is you can adjust it to tell you how many miles you have until your gas tank is empty. When you get to 50 miles to empty, it dings to let you know . This same screen will also let you know when you need and oil change and if tire pressure is low. It may even notify you of other things, but these are the only things I have seen. Cons
There are only a couple things that I wish were different about the Ford Fusion SE. For one, the windshield wipers do not go fast enough for heavy rainfall. It will do the job for regular rain, but if you get caught on the highway with any type of substantial rain, it is very difficult see. The other problem I had was that the headlight is a little difficult to get to. Maybe there is a different way you were supposed to change it, but I had to squeeze my hand in there, and I have pretty small hands. 2012 Ford Fusion - Nice first car
This was the first car I purchased as an adult and I'm pleased with the car. I purchased it used with approx. 50,000 Miles on it. The car has a decent amount of wear on it for being only 3 years old. It's a solid car but I've had a decent amount of upkeep on it. I've had to replace the original tires, and battery. The car drives great and is very comfortable smooth ride. I opted for the AWD option and love it for the winter months. The design of the car is great and I still enjoy the aesthetics of the car and get compliments from co workers often.
Story
Handles well in snow
Pros
Heated seats, radio controls on the steering wheel, leather seats are all great. The All wheel drive option is great from driving in the snow and ice that we often get in my area. I was surprised at the gas mileage I get with this car! For short trips I average 22-25 MPG and on long trips I get roughly 28-30! This is higher than the advertised MPG so I was extremely pleased.
Cons
The negatives on this car are minimal. It was a hard transition to a car from the SUV I had previously driven, so size and space seems limited especially in the trunk. The leather seats make it hard to transport things because of risk of easily damaging the leather as it's not the highest quality. The sync voice system does not work well for me. I cannot make phone calls with it as the person I'm talking to only gets a large windy sound like I'm driving with the window down.
