At first glance I was very excited to step into my new car. Driving it off the lot the first time, I just knew that we were meant to be together. The mileage was not too high, the paint job (blue) was to my liking and the price was perfect. When I had it out on the road it handled just like I would want it to. The acceleration pedal was tight so I did not have to push down too hard to get her to go. The brakes were quiet and perfectly reactive. The gas mileage was to my liking at 20 MPG. I am also a fan of Hondas in general because they are known for being a reliable company that makes dependable cars. I would recommend this car to any one of my friends. I have had it 9 years and it still runs smooth to this day. The only problem I had at the time I bought it was that it needed an oil ... (more)
Story
I enjoyed driving my friends around campus on friday nights in college.
Pros
Gas mileage, dependability
Cons
Foreign design so I cannot do the repairs myself

Our Honda Accord is the 2nd Honda purchase we have made, we had previously purchased a 2001 Honda C-RV and we love it also. These cars give you great bang for your buck. The are super reliable and this saves you money in the long run. Not to mention reducing the hassle factor of constant repairs. These Accords are for people who purchase a car for sensible reasons. They aren't flashy or fancy, just make good common sense for those that just want to get from point A to point B without too much stress. If you are looking for status points, you may want to look elsewhere.
Story
The first week after purchased the car, I was leaving the parking lot at work and I noticed that I had a flat tire. It was an easy patch job, but it did make me wonder if this was a jinxed purchase. But several years later, it has been a very good car.
Pros
Reliable Energy efficient (Good gas mileage) Most things on the instrument panel or convenient. More storage space than it looks for a small car. Resale value holds up very well. Great bang for your buck.
Cons
The Takata air bag recall has been a hassle. Road noise is an issue. The reduced the under carriage insulation to improve gas mileage. It's a give and take situation. Front seats could be more comfortable. The Toyota Camry has very comfortable seating. Getting to air filter is not easy. Oil changes are also a bit of chore. Very tight engine compartment.

I don't think the dealer is great. Their manager was really rude. I wanted to take my car with a mechanic, but the manager responded really rudely. I was buying a used car with a really high price. Because I really liked the car. But the manager behaved as if I was asking to get the car for free.

The dealers were very helpful, not pushy, and willing to work with me as far as price goes. Nice selection of affordable cars and they were all clean and in good shape. The deal was very honest about the car's history and condition and when we went for a test drive he explained what they had recently fixed. The experience was generally pain free which is important because I hate car shopping. The fact that it's a local dealer helps too because they have a relationship with the community.
