This is a modern car with great fuel mileages. It's the perfect cat for a college student or single person on a budget. It has a classic-body type of a Ford sedan with modern amenities. Such amenities include Bluetooth radio, power sunroof, and power lock anti-theft system.
Story
I don't think I have a fun memorable story to share about the car. I mean it's mainly used for work and everyday, normal errand running. The only event I can think of is escorting a family member to purchase another car, and the battery died on the car. Then we need the car lot to gives us a jump, and we basically spent all night answer a lot questions to one of the salesmen about the car, bec... (more)
Pros
Good gas for the mileage. I like the fact that the type of gas you put in the car is cheaper than regular gasoline prices. The Bluetooth in the car makes it easy to customized your music. The parts replacement and maintenance are not too expense on the car.
Cons
The gas, E85, is not easy to find in my local city. The body type is typical of a Ford sedan—nothing special, so it doesn't make it that much of a looker. I feel like the car should have come with automatic star, but it doesn't. I am also not too fond of the fact that if you don't hurry and start the car, the alarm will go off.

I was a little concerned with going away from the tried and true standard of used cars (Honda and Toyota) but am happy to say that Ford has lived up to its motto. The little fusion that I bought has proven time and time again that it is built tough, navigating the uneven Houston roads while maintaining a smooth ride.
Story
Used for a road trip to Austin. Jammed tunes and had the windows down the whole way.
Pros
Handles like a dream. Can do tight turns with little difficulty and is easy to tell the dimensions of for tight parking. Can take compact spaces easily. Innovative dashboard controls for sound and heating. Voice activated Bluetooth audio control. Great gas efficiency.
Cons
Not as noise proof as I would like for a car that I ride every day. Upon purchase, I had an issue with the AC belt that required a repair of about $500. Have had no issues since, but you should expect this car to run you about 300-600 over what the asking price is in the first year from maintenance. Ford has also recently deviated from standardized parts for their cars, meaning that things that should be simple replacements now require a trip to a Ford dealership and a hefty markup on specialized parts. For example, my rear lamp socket went out, and I could not use a simple $6 standard one... (more)
