We bought this car used, but it was practically new. Only 71 miles. One month later and things were breaking down and failing. Soon after, we got our first letter in the mail from the manufacturer stating various recalls for different parts of the car. Repairs would be covered, but it was a hassle. We ended up getting more and more recall letters as time went on. Aside from all the needed repairs when the car was fixed it drove really well. It is a compact car so for it to be small and expected, and it is just my wife and I. However, anytime we needed to transport more than two people, it felt extremely crammed. There is little to no leg room for the backseat passengers even if the front seats are moved all the way forward. Not to mention if you manage to fit someone in the back comfor... (more)
Story
Even though there is not much leg room, I did manage to use it to drive for Uber (sorry customers). Driving around in this car and meeting new people all day everyday was pretty fun.
Pros
When fixed, it drives well. Great mpg. Large trunk space.
Cons
Too many things were recalled on this car. Radio failed not long after buying this car. No backseat leg room.

I bought the 2015 Ford Fiesta sedan standard transmission. I have had no problems with the car and routinely get 40 to 42 miles per gallon with a combination of highway and rural roads. I love the car and would definitely buy it again. Keep in mind that it is an economy car. It is a great car for one or two occupants. The rear leg room is very tight. From what I have read, I would not buy the automatic in neither the Fiesta nor the Focus.
Story
There was only so much we could do in the car. Read books. Play animal poker. Sing songs together. Seat belts were usually neglected like the leftover tuna casserole in the back of the fridge. Some states protected us with laws back then, but nobody cared. We would often fall sleep while laying in the floorboard of the car. My kids do not understand how good they have it. The minivan was built... (more)
Pros
Nice safety features, good performance, good fuel economy with EcoBoost.
Cons
Small back seats, small cargo space, price and availability.

This is a car for people who love to drive. The suspension is tight but not punishing. Handling is stunning, though I would prefer a little less body roll. There is lots of power on tap, but the main thing is, it's simply a blast to drive. There are lots of cars that will beat it in a drag race, but few could keep up with it on a windy road. The reason it doesn't 0-60 faster is traction. Ford severely limits 1st gear boost, gives about half-boost in 2nd, and then full boost in 3rd and beyond. This is because the car is very light, it would sit and burn the tires without reducing boost. Good thing is, Mountune makes Ford-approved modifications that don't void the warranty. After almost two months with the car, I am still thrilled every time I get to drive my Fiesta. Best car ever, serio... (more)
Story
I was initially excited to try the Fiesta of the FOST fame, and it handled really well from a handling perspective in taking turns and being zippy. It also got excellent gas mileage (over 42mpg highway) for one of my trips, and overall was a comfortable ride. The challenge with the vehicle was the horrible powertrain; between the engine and the transmission, it couldn't figure out what it want... (more)
Pros
Great value, but short on interior room and acceleration. Gets very good mileage and rides well for such a short wheelbase.
Cons
Out-corners and out-brakes most anything on the road, and acceleration is nothing to shake a stick at either.

My recent experience with this car dealer was absolutely outstanding. I have bought quite a few cars before, so I wasn't looking forward to going to deal with car salesmen again. The place was very clean, and I felt comfortable being there. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted by a man who was dressed professionally, and who was very polite. I explained that I was looking to buy a new car that had better gas mileage than my old one, and that I wasn't interested in a lot of bells and whistles and upgrades that I'd never use. The employee walked me through the cars that had great mileage at a decent price. I was waiting for him to try to talk me in to one of the more expensive models, but that never happened, which is a first for me. I appreciated that he seemed to want to make me ha... (more)

I enjoyed working with the internet dealer. Once we agreed on a price, I just made appointment to see him and the transaction was processed quickly.
