I actually like the physical design of the vehicle, I find white is actually a good color on my car where as other vehicles I don't like in white, which was a huge like for me. I enjoy how when you need the car to move, it moves. It's a 4 cylinder vehicle, and it gets good gas mileage, yet at the same time it has enough spunk under the hood to remind you how fun it can be to drive, even being ours having an automatic transmission. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people, or in our case, 2 and a baby, and we feel safe in this vehicle and feel safe having our son in it as well. There is a good amount of trunk space for groceries or subs if that's your desire, and despite the interior being (understandably) plastic-dominated, still feels, for the most part, well constructed.
Pros
Good gas mileage ~30 with a combo of city/highway. Car feels responsive and moves/handles well for its class/size. Good trunk space, room for 4 or 5 if small enough. Confidence in safety to put son in back seat. Radio is pretty good for its class as well, aux jack standard for 3.5mm jacks for playing music through MP3 players or cell phones. A/C is very good.
Cons
The radio has main power/volume knob. As the car gets older, this knob has to be turned more to achieve the same reductions or increases in volume. Cars in this class are easily hitting high 30s to low 40s in MPG Road noise is mitigated, but still very much exists no matter the tires.

2009 Chevrolet Cobalt - Mechanically a very good car.

The car's build quality is good. There are very few rattles. I have driven the car 101,000 miles. The interior materials are of good quality for the price paid and have held up very well over time. The stereo is very good. You have to turn the steering wheel a little to get the ignition key to turn. The power steering assist quit working right after buying the vehicle so it has had no power steering but for me that has not been to bad. Performance is good. Good mileage about 35 mpg highway. It has been very reliable. It has been comfortable.
Story
Going down the road looking at the scenery with the radio blasting.
Pros
Reliable, has performed well, good gas mileage, has held up well.
Cons
Power assist quit working not too long after purchase. The air conditioner blower quit blowing strong at about 85,000 miles. The electronic tire pressure gauges do not work right.

They were very friendly and not all pushy. When I went in, I already knew what I wanted and they respected my choice and did not try to aggressively make me buy a more expensive. They really care about their customers.
