2007 Honda Fit - Big little car

The Honda Fit is one of the biggest little cars I have owned. It is small on the outside. This gives it one of the smallest turning radiuses of any car I have owned. The size also means that it is lightweight and thus gets great gas mileage. The inside is proportioned to feel big once you are in it. It is the vehicle that my family uses to get around. We often get four full sized adults in it comfortably, five if we scrunch up just a little. In addition to the size on the inside, it can be configured in many different ways. I can lay down the back seats and have enough room for a half-sheet of plywood to fit. I have two Labradors that ride in it and they do just fine with space.
Story
This is the weekend car. We have a truck, sportscar, and even a SUV but this is the car we putter around in.
Pros
The pros are good gas mileage, and it is a very versatile vehicle.
Cons
The cons about my particular model are that it doesn't have cruise control. It comes in a model that does however, so for a little more money you could get it that way. I wish that it were a standard transmission as well. These are simply personal preferences. The biggest con is the number of recalls it has had.

I've owned this for just over two years. I loved it at first but have found many things in the last year that just really bug me about the car. I have the EX model with the sunroof, and I am constantly irked that in a vehicle (especially a model with a sunroof), there are zero back seat amenities like cup holders, or air vents that get even close to offering relief to people in the back seats. Also, and trip longer than 30 minutes causes discomfort to front seat riders because of the weird style of the seat. It forces you to hunch, shoves your shoulders and neck forward really unnaturally, and offers little support to the lower back. I will admit that it is very spacious, and that the fold down/up seats in the back are great for packing lots of things into. I would not purchase this ca... (more)
Story
This car does really well driving around the hill country and when listening to fun music.
Pros
Great gas mileage, love the look of the car, display, and the space in back once seats fold down.
Cons
Odd style of the seats. Not comfortable for back seat drivers.

The salesman, Sam, was very helpful, and even asked his coworkers at the Baton Rouge, LA, location to verify that the car had not been smoked in before it was transferred to his location in TX, per my request. The car exterior had an odd smell to it after we purchased it, and the Service Department went above and beyond to get rid of the smell and clean and detail the engine at no charge.
