The Honda Fit is great. I haven't had any issues with the car at all, and I love the features on it. I couldn't live without the Bluetooth connection, and the cameras on the side mirror and the rear of the car make driving so much easier and safer. I like the size. It is small enough to be a compact car, but big enough that my taller friends don't have issues riding in it, as long as they are in the front seat. It fits so much stuff in it... I moved from Houston, Texas to New Orleans, Louisiana, and fit almost all of my belongings in the car. My friends call it my Mary Poppins Bag car, because of how much stuff can fit in it.
Story
I work for a Renaissance Festival, so being in a small car with three other ladies in hoop skirts, and still having enough room was great. We couldn't stop laughing the entire time. There were ruffled everywhere.
Pros
The camera on the passenger side mirror. It has made driving so much safer, and if I happen to be driving a car without a camera there, it throws me off completely. I like it's size, it makes it easy to navigate traffic and smaller downtown streets, also parallel parking it is a breeze. I haven't had any issues with the car, and haven't had to get it serviced, other than oil changes.
Cons
Tall people cannot sit comfortably in the back seat. Their heads hit the roof if I go over a bump. The car is a bit rough to ride in, but I'm used to it, so I don't notice it. Passengers have commented on it, though. The car I had before this one had a digital speedometer, and I liked that better than the one this car has.

I purchased my Honda Fit in 2011 from a local Honda Dealer in San Antonio. One of the reasons I purchased it was that it was well priced, and my wife liked the visibility while driving--you can see out all windows pretty well. The local Honda dealer also offered me a very good trade-in value for my pickup. The Fit at first seemed to be a nice small sporty car--easy to park, maneuver, and good response. It had all the basic features down well--good old school ergonomics--felt good to drive it on road trips, or even just to the store. Its hatchback design and fold-down rear design was very handy for camping, and even hauling building materials. It comes with some nice small storage features and held up very well overall. My main investment after 170K miles was a full brake job ! After mo... (more)
Story
I went to buy sheetrock for my house, and was able to cut the sheet of sheetrock down the middle, fold it over, and it fit!
Pros
Ergonomics and gas mileage 34+ avg.
Cons
Typically not good for a larger person.

The salesman, Sam, was very helpful, and even asked his coworkers at the Baton Rouge, LA, location to verify that the car had not been smoked in before it was transferred to his location in TX, per my request. The car exterior had an odd smell to it after we purchased it, and the Service Department went above and beyond to get rid of the smell and clean and detail the engine at no charge.
