2010 Ford Expedition - Ford Expedition LTD = Great Buy
I have a pearl white 2010 Ford Expedition LTD. I like the roominess of the vehicle, the overall layout of seating and storage, the ability to fold down rear seating for more storage, and many more aspects about this car. There are a few things that I dislike such as gas mileage and model year/mileage.
Story
We recently took this car on a beach trip to Port Bolivar, TX. We were able to carry my husband, daughter, sister and her two daughters and myself comfortably the entire way with a little room left over to store some travel items. It was a great trip!
Pros
This car is very roomy. I can easily fit my daughter's car seat in one of the middle row captains chairs and still walk easily down the aisle to the back seating area. There is lots of storage since the rear seats fold down with the push of a button. There are lots of storage areas for items such as the middle console and upper storage units as well as dashboard storage for small items. I love the DVD player/TV combo that pulls down from the ceiling. My daughter would be lost without her videos on the road!
Cons
I think that the only real drawback with this vehicle is the gas mileage. I previously owned a small truck which had great gas mileage, so switching to a large SUV has some gas mileage issues associated with the switch. I also wish that when we bought this used car there would have been less miles on the car, and it could have been a more recent year model.
2000 Ford Expedition - Regrets about older car
I purchased the vehicle as a cheap drive-around car. I am not happy with the car, but for the money, it has been worth it. It has plenty of room for my family of five with three row seats. For an older vehicle, it still runs pretty well. The interior is very outdated. I was surprised to find that there are rear air controls. The ride in the vehicle is a little bumpy due to its old age, but it will still go high speed. The fuel mileage is awful. We paid $2,400 for the car, so for that amount, the quality is good. It has leather seats, but they have some damage which drives me crazy. The carpet in the car isn't in the best of shape, but it is ok. The room allows for us to travel with friends without having to take more than one vehicle! It has running boards. So that's a plus! It has a b... (more)
Story
My friend and I took our girls, four girls in total, to the local strawberry patch. We ate strawberries all the way home!
Pros
Cheap price, lots of room, rear air controls, and running boards. My favorite feature is probably the third row seats
Cons
Fuel mileage, loose steering wheel, and torn seats.

2006 Ford Expedition - Russell And Smith Ford Houston
Well I've passed this dealership everyday as a child and multiple people in my family have worked there and purchased there cars from there. I enjoy the upbeat, chipper employees and the generally happy environment at the dealership. Of course there's the typical dealers there but I'm used to that and the pressure they try to apply is not a deal breaker.

They were very helpful and didn't stop until they had me in the vehicle that I wanted.
