I bought my 2007 Ford Fusion SEL back in 2010. The car had around 60,000 miles around the time of purchase and was in very good condition. I purchased the vehicle at a local used car dealership here in town. I ended up financing the car and paid around $12,500. I was able to talk the dealer into adding a spoiler to the car as a bonus for buying it from them. The car is black with a tan cloth interior and wood trim. It's a beautiful car. I also love that it is a 6 cylinder, so it has plenty of power. The car also came with a six-disc CD player, which was a plus at the time of purchase. One of the downfalls would be the gas mileage. It gets about 22 miles per gallon so it could be better, but I still prefer to have the V6 over the four cylinder. I also added tinted windows to the car, wh... (more)
Story
I went hunting with my dad and ended up getting a pretty big buck. We were able to put the seats down and the deer fit completely inside the car. We laid it on a tarp to keep the car from getting messy.
Pros
The top positive items of this car are the wood trim and tan cloth interior. I also love the six-disc CD player. Another added bonus is the window tint and spoiler that was added after the purchase. A major plus for me is having cruise control. I do a lot of highway driving and cruise control is a life saver. Another feature I really love is the rims. I think my biggest pro for this car is the six-cylinder engine, which provides me with tons of power and torque.
Cons
I would say the biggest con I have with this car right now is the oil leak. It's causing me to have to park on the street to keep the oil from getting all over our driveway and garage. Another con is the gas mileage with it being a six cylinder. The car currently gets around 22 miles per gallon. This isn't a deal breaker but something to definitely be aware of. The last con I have is that there is no auxiliary port on the CD player, so I can't plug in my smart phone.

2010 Ford Fusion - I think it's a great car for the price.

I love the Ford Fusion. I got it for the price I wanted and the extended warranty. I plan on keeping it for the next 10 years or more. Its a great car, just right for my situation right now. Very comfortable, just wish it had more of a sporty look to it. I looks a little plain. The vehicle is priced just right too, not too high and a little cheap. The car is very quiet while driving and sitting idle. The rear seat room is ok but falls a little short compared to other vehicles its size. This is my first ford car and it has been a pretty good experience. If I could make any suggestions it would be the seats. I feel like they should not put light cloth seats in vehicles at all. If they do you should be able to get free shampoo every year. Otherwise they should refrain from putting light c... (more)
Story
Everyday is memorable with just being able to get into a reliable vehicle.
Pros
The top positive things are: the vehicle is very dependable. I know when I get in my vehicle it will get me from point a to b. It rides very smooth no sputtering on incline either. The vehicle is just the right size, not too small and not too big. It has a nice little sleek look to it also. It does not take much to fill the tank up, $20 dollars will put you almost on full. I've never had a problem with air conditioner or heat. All of the windows roll down with ease. The trunk is very roomy too. Safety lock for the kids is awesome too. I have not had a problem with the brakes at all. No pro... (more)
Cons
The model I have has light cloth interior and it gets stained very easily and it is hard to clean. The horn does not work any longer either. I looked it up online and this is a known problem with ford fusion cars. The Bluetooth does not work any longer either. I had to have the battery replaced back in January. I am not able to open the driver side door with just pulling the door open like any regular car. I have to pull the latch and lock at the same time in order to open my car. I had to pay to have another automatic key programmed for the car also. There is a recall on the passenger sid... (more)
