This vehicle has never given me any mechanical issues. If it had, they would be a quick fix since it was built in the golden age of car manufacturing...back when things were built to last. It is a small pickup that fits in all parking spots (so the old lady can make a feeble attempt to park too!) and has a large enough of a bed to haul wood and free items off of the side of the road. Fuel economy could be better, but it was built in the '80s when we thrived off of gas. It seats two comfortably and three if you don't mind making the old lady share with your dog! It comes with a great stock stereo for your country music and Rush Limbaugh! American made! That says it all right there folks. Buy a 1989 Ford Ranger right now and make America great again!
Story
One time we went to go see some fine Country, American, Rock and Roll Music across the good ole USA, and we got many compliments on our truck. But that could have been the "Hillary for Prison" bumper sticker! What a conversation piece!
Pros
American made, reliable transmission, seats two, and parks anywhere.
Cons
Gas hog.

Overall, my Ranger has served me well. It was a gift to me for traveling back and forth from college from my parents. It served me well for that purpose and was fairly reliable. The only thing was when something went wrong, it was usually pretty significant repairs that followed. Ran well up to about 75k miles, and then maintenance issues started to become a nuisance.
Story
Had some good times out in the woods and back roads with the ranger. Hauled my biggest buck through some snow covered fields with my best buddy. With some decent tires, it will do well in unplowed snowy roads. Never left me stranded in the woods but didn't really agree with a lot of daily commuting.
Pros
Cheaper than a full-size truck. Can still haul full (4x8) sheets of drywall, plywood, etc. Pretty roomy interior for a smaller truck.
Cons
Gas mileage of a full-size truck. Had some expensive maintenance costs (listed below). Rust issues on cab corners.

They were able to locate the exact vehicle that I wanted. It the color I wanted and has precisely the options that I sought. In addition, the salesman was not pushy. He allowed my husband and I to test drive the car alone. I hate it when salesmen tag along during a test drive. I have continued to take my car back to McCafferty for regular maintenance and service. They are always courteous and professional. Pricing is competitive.

Their service was spectacular, the salesman were not pushy at all and let me take my time to decide what I wanted. They were very flexible with price even with my supplier discount. I'm addition, my trade was fairly assessed and I was given a good price for my vehicle. They are also seem to have a good service department and warranty as well. I would definitely go back I the future.
